DARE RIDE 2007 INFORMATION Welcome to the 10th Annual New Baden D.A.R.E. benefit motorcycle ride. Thank you for taking the time out of your day to help us raise money for the children of New Baden. This even is the one and only method of funding for our D.A.R.E. program. Our department has sponsored and put on this ride for the last 10 years, but with out the help of the riders it wouldn't be possible. We currently instruct children in 4 different age levels about the consequences of drugs, alcohol, violence, and a curriculum on bullying has been added. Thank you for your support. We have changed our ending location. Due to the increasing numbers of riders we will be finishing our ride at the New Baden American Legion. It is located one block due South of the Emergency Services Complex. We felt the Legion would offer better facilities, and a cooler more enjoyable meal. We will still serve our all you can eat meal including bratwurst, hamburgers, pork burgers and hot dogs donated in part by Trenton Processing. We will start serving at 3:00 p.m. As usual, we have a new route this year. We are especially proud of this years route, because it takes in some of the most scenic and enjoyable roads in the area. The route directions are located in the back of this booklet. We have also included an Illinois map with the route highlighted. You will be drawing 5 colored balls, the first at registration and at each of the next 4 stops. If you find yourself off the route or if you miss a turn, just make your way to the next scheduled stop, the missed stop's circle blank and draw a substitute ball at the end of the ride.
