Allied Waste Curbside Recycling Guidelines

COMPACT FLORESCENT LIGHT (CFL) BULB RECYCLING:  At each "The Home Depot" store, customers can simply bring in any expired, unbroken CFL bulbs, and give them to the store associate behind the returns desk. The bulbs will then be managed responsibly by an environmental management company who will coordinate CFL packaging, transportation and recycling to maximize safety and ensure environmental compliance.  

For residential customers, Allied Waste will also except your CFL bulbs in your normal residential trash.  Contact Allied Waste for more information: (800) 564-2819.

The Village of New Baden does not allow open burning.  This includes yard-waste, household trash, and agricultural waste.  Click here for more info.  For information on the hazards of leaf burning, click here.  You can subscribe for yard waste services by contacting Allied Waste.
