2013 SEASON INFORMATION

Group swimming lessons, water aerobic classes and pool parties are available. Please call the pool during the open season for more information regarding availability and pricing, 588-3888.


Water Aerobics will be offered on Monday and Wednesday from 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. starting on June 4.  Cost is $5.00 per class or 8 classes for $35.00.


Swimming lessons will be offered in two sessions. Each class is one hour in length. Each session will have 2 classes, 9 a.m. – 10:00 a.m. and 10:15 a.m. to 11:15 a.m.

Session I will be held June 17 - 21 and June 24 - 28.

Session II will be held July 1 - 5 (no lesson on July 4) and July 8 - 12 and Monday, July 15.

The cost for either session is $40 for in-district residents and $50 for out-of-district residents. Pre-registration and pre-payment must be made at the same time. NO PHONE REGISTRATION accepted, please come to the pool to sign up.

Out-of-District or non-resident is any person living outside the corporate limits of New Baden.


The Legion Memorial Pool Manager would like to remind parents of children under 8 years of age that these children must be accompanied by a responsible person, subject to management approval.

NEW BADEN VILLAGE PARK

Open Daily, 6 a.m. to dusk.

The 41-acre New Baden Community Park has a swimming pool, tennis courts, ball diamonds, soccer field, hockey rink, skate-park, limestone walking path, play-ground equipment, sand volleyball court, basketball court, and picnic facilities. The Park Pavilions can be reserved through-out the spring and summer for a small fee. The Legion Memorial Swimming Pool is open daily from Memorial Day to mid-August. Swimming Lessons, Water Aerobics, Pool Parties and seasonal passes are available. Contact Village Hall for more details.

PARK PAVILION RESERVATIONS


Picnic facilities and other recreation areas are available by reservation only. The Park has 2 large pavilions (the Lions Club Pavilion has an attached kitchen, the other Pavilion does not), 2 smaller pavilions, and the Gazebo.

**Fees Effective July 1, 2011, as approved by the New Baden Park Board on June 21, 2011.

New Baden Organizations will have priority for scheduling pavilions or any other recreation facilities within the Park. New Baden Organizations may schedule the pavilions and other recreation facilities by reserving time slots at the Village Hall. New Baden Organizations may request the reservation fee to be waived.

Keys for the facilities may be checked out the day of the event or on the last working day prior to the event. Keys must be returned immediately after an event and may be deposited in the Village Hall's night deposit slot located on the west side of the building.

Baseball/Softball Diamond usage is also scheduled through the Park & Rec Coordinator, 588-5021. There is a $25.00 fee per diamond for any prep work done.
